Contact Lens Services

Contact Lens Services

Contact lenses come in various sizes, materials, and replacement and wear schedules. Many wearers find disposable and extended wear contact lenses the most comfortable and convenient. Our doctors will discuss your lifestyle, prescription, and budget to find a contact lens that will work best for you.

  • Toric for astigmatism
  • Multifocal for presbyopia
  • Daily disposables
  • Colored contact lenses
  • Extremely high prescriptions
  • Rigid gas permeable lenses
  • Contact lenses for Keratoconus (Scleral Contact Lenses)

We keep our contact lens pricing competitive with major online retailers. Our offices carry many styles of contact lenses and we also offer convenient online ordering on our website. Contact lenses are a medical device, therefore, contact lens prescriptions expire one year after the date of examination. A current eye exam is required in order to fill a contact lens prescription.

Dry Eye

Dry Eye

Contrary to it's name 'dry eye' may suggest, our eyes typically water MORE frequently when they are dry. This is our body’s response to try and wet the surface of the eye to make it more comfortable. Tear quality has a lot to do with our eye comfort. Quality, oily, tears don’t evaporate as quickly, keeping the eye lubricated longer. The Meibomian glands that create the oil layer of tears can be coaxed into working properly by applying warm compresses to increase blood supply to the glands, and massage to help the oil pass through the glands fluidly.

Common symptoms of dry eye include:

  • Blurry vision, that may clear with blink
  • Stinging, burning, scratching sensation
  • Gritty/sandy eyes
  • Red eyes
  • Watery eyes
  • Sensitivity to light
  • Tired eyes or eye fatigue
  • Difficulty wearing contact lenses
  • Filmy vision
  • Foreign body sensation
